We began as a family business in 1948.  Morris and Monica Lamb began in their garage as a service business for appliances: primarily refrigeration.

Their oldest son, Grant purchased the business from his dad in 1985.  The first internet business was established in 1990. www.doityourselfparts.com

This site was established to give much more attention to Washing machine parts. If your washer or dryer is in need of repair, we can find the part for you. Washer repair and Parts are needed often and we felt it deserved its own site.  We want to be your washer parts store.

We are located in the center of the United States for shipping access to both coasts.  We ship UPS and Priority Mail to the United States and ship Worldwide.
